Buses are frequent to Chamonix and to Les Grand Montets, and we give all guests a free pass to use in the winter season for the duration of their stay. Woot!
The official Chamonix website and many other sites list all the activities and offerings in the valley. We’re sure you can delve around. But we’re here if you want to ask a seasoned local anything.

Best local pastry shop
, Jean Fleury is less than a minute and half away on foot, assuming you are Sebastien Coe beating the 800m world record set in 1979, if you nip down in the car or if you have these super powers. A fabulous variety of baguettes local pastries and fine chocolate treats will seduce your purse.
For everyone else, Google Maps reckons it’s a mere 10 minute stroll with Chamonix town centre less than three minutes further on.
